Camp Oakhurst Volunteer Program
Camp Oakhurst is a local non-profit that provides year-round services for children and adults with special needs, including autism and physical and intellectual disabilities, while providing respite for their families. Camp Oakhurst is looking for dedicated and compassionate high school students this spring to assist in facility projects, such as painting and power-washing, and/or assist their clients in recreational programs, such as crafting and games. If you are good with people, kind, and caring, then volunteering at Camp Oakhurst is the right fit for you!
The Monmouth County Library Eastern Branch in Shrewsbury is coordinating a Summer Volunteer Program. They are looking for student volunteers to make a commitment of 2-4 hours per week, attend a program and read for the Vacation Reading Club.
