Caseys Earn National Merit and AP Honors

Congratulations to seniors Kaitlyn Wood and Lauren Walker for being honored by the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Kaitlyn qualified as a Semifinalist, scoring among the top 16,000 of 1.6 million students and will continue in the competition for a scholarship.

Lauren was recognized as a Commended Student with a score in the top 34,000 of 1.6 million students. Students are selected out of the pool of high scorers on the PSAT in recognition of their outstanding academic promise.

RBC proudly announces that in 2017 four students were recognized as AP Scholars with Honors, having earned a score of 3 or higher on at least four or more AP exams:

Carolyn Davin - University of Notre Dame
John Joyce - University of Maryland
Isobel Murrer - University of Notre Dame
Kaitlyn Wood - RBC Senior

Eleven students were recognized as AP scholars, scoring a 3 or higher on at least three exams. They are Mark Caverly, Katherine Cole, Siobhan Cottell, Nasir Darnell, Caroline Greeley, Kerry Kitrick, Josephine Larkins, Kaitlin Ryan, Carolee Wagner, Lauren Walker, and Kyle Wood. 

 

Additionally, 177 members of the Class of 2017 earned over $32,601,500 in college scholarships.
