This year Red Bank Catholic began offering a new course for students interested in the intricacies of Computer-Aided Design and Drafting, or "CADD."

Congratulations to seniors Kaitlyn Wood and Lauren Walker for being honored by the National Merit Scholarship Program. Additionally four students were named AP Scholars with Honors and 11 were named AP Scholars in 2017.

The Honors Intro to Engineering Class recently completed their latest project with much success. Students worked in pairs to design and construct "pick and place" robots and presented their work with a fun demonstration. Read the full story to see a video!

This year marks the 25th year RBC students and alumni volunteers, under the direction of AP Biology teacher Mrs. Davis, have been assisting Cornell University's "NestWatch" Research Project.

Red Bank Catholic students will now have the opportunity to learn how to translate initial creative concepts into functional designs and 3D walkthroughs with the addition of CADD: 3D Design & Engineering to the RBC curriculum.

It's been another busy fall semester in the RBC Guidance Department. Admissions counselors from 138 colleges and universities nationwide visited Red Bank Catholic to meet with interested seniors.

In the effort to put students at the center of their experience and empower them to take more control of their own learning, RBC invites them to participate in the school's Bring Your Own Device Program where they use personal technology devices during the school day. This technology provides students the ability to access online tools, textbooks, information and resources, to collaborate, take class notes and more.

Through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. John Kitrick, Red Bank Catholic has been able to purchase several state-of-the-art 3D printers for use in the Engineering, Math, Science and the Fine Arts Departments.

RBC's Caseys for a Cure Club with the help of the RBC Sisterhood in Strength Club sponsored a hair donation event to support the Pantene Beautiful Lengths organization, which creates free, real-hair wigs for women with cancer.
